PHGG — Fibre 365®
Our flagship dietary fibre. 100% water soluble, non-viscous, and completely invisible in the finished product.

Full fibre content, without the viscosity
Most fibres make you choose: thickness, cloudiness, grit, or a taste you have to mask. PHGG doesn't. The fibre goes in — and everything else about your product stays exactly as it was.
PHGG is made by putting guar galactomannan through a controlled enzymatic hydrolysis. The process removes the viscosity while leaving the dietary fibre fully intact, which is why it can be dosed at several grams per serving in a drink that still pours like water.
Three reasons formulators choose it
Dissolves clear
Works in transparent drinks, where most fibres turn the liquid cloudy.
No taste, no grit
Nothing to mask, nothing to reformulate around, nothing to explain on the pack.
Stays stable
Comes through heating, acidity and freezing without breaking down.
Clinically studied. Quietly effective.
The benefits your customer can carry onto their own pack.
Digestive regularity
Helps keep things moving comfortably — in both directions.
Feeds good bacteria
Acts as a prebiotic, supporting a healthier balance in the gut.
Gentle to take
Low FODMAP, with far less bloating than fast-fermenting fibres.
Steadier blood sugar
Slows sugar absorption and lowers the glycaemic index of the food.
Keeps you fuller
Extends satiety, supporting weight management.
Better mineral uptake
Linked to improved absorption of calcium and magnesium.
Health claims must be matched to the clinical dossier and to the rules of each destination market before publication.
Where PHGG goes to work
Adding no thickness, no cloud and no flavour opens categories most fibres are shut out of.
Clear beverages
Fibre in a transparent drink — juices, RTDs and flavoured waters.
Dairy & yoghurt
Comes through pasteurisation and live fermentation intact.
Bakery & cereals
Bake-stable, with no change to the dough you already use.
Sachets & sticks
A neutral base for daily fibre formats.
Clinical nutrition
Low viscosity — thin enough for tube feeds.
Infant & senior
Gentle fermentation for sensitive digestion.
Confectionery
Sugar reduction and fibre claims in gummies.
Pet nutrition
Digestive support in wet and dry formats.
PHGG questions, answered
What is PHGG?
PHGG stands for partially hydrolysed guar gum. It is produced by a controlled enzymatic hydrolysis of guar galactomannan, which shortens the chains enough to remove the viscosity while leaving the dietary fibre intact. The result is a fibre that dissolves completely and clearly in water.
How is PHGG different from guar gum?
Guar gum is a thickener — it builds high viscosity at low doses. PHGG is the same raw material processed further, so it keeps the fibre but loses the thickening. That is why PHGG can be dosed at several grams per serving without changing the body of the product.
Is PHGG better than inulin or psyllium?
Each has its place. PHGG's advantages are clarity in solution, no taste impact, stability through heat and acid, and a gentler fermentation profile that causes less bloating. Inulin is cheaper but ferments faster and is less acid stable; psyllium thickens and clouds.
Is PHGG Low FODMAP?
Fibre 365 is Low FODMAP, which is one reason it is tolerated at doses where other fibres are not. Confirm the current certification status with our technical team for your destination market.
What is the typical dosage of PHGG?
Fibre 365 delivers 6g of dietary fibre per 7g scoop in the consumer format. For B2B formulation, inclusion depends on your target fibre claim — tell us the claim you want and we will come back with a recommended inclusion rate.
Can I get a PHGG sample and specification?
Yes. Send us your application and target fibre level through the contact form and we will come back within one working day with a sample, the Technical Data Sheet and a sample Certificate of Analysis.
